Lilies & Lakes
New Collection Launching Sept 10th
@ Island Atelier

Lilies and Lakes captures the tension between softness and strength. where lilies drift quietly on water, or rise boldly to catch the light.
This collection grew from days spent exploring fluid techniques with inks, fineliners, and layered washes to capture the flowing nature of lilies at one of Anna Kwiecinska's painting retreats in Bali.
It is a joyful return to Rebecca's love of saturated colour, intricate linework, and storytelling.
The rich textures of water, reflection, and memory invite you to pause, notice what blooms above and what stirs below.
It’s a collection rooted in presence, connection, and the layered language of nature.

'Every Cloud has a Gold Lining'
More Than a Silver Lining.
This collection was created between Dec 24 and June 25 during my recovery from a serious health scare. A time that transformed fear into gratitude, and hardship into renewal.
What I discovered was not just a silver lining, but a golden lining, far richer and more meaningful than I could ever have imagined.
Each work reflects the journey of moving through difficulty and emerging not only stronger, but more joyful, grounded, and grateful. The addition of gold leaf to the layers of muted blues is both a symbol of healing and a reminder of the unexpected gifts found within life’s challenges.
Browse the collection below and find your own reminder that even heavy clouds can carry a golden light.
Experiences
Each visit reveals something new.
The first year, I was struck by the bold black lines of the temples, the intricate carvings, and the way deep shadows played across the architecture and water.
This time, I spent long moments sketching at the Lotus Lagoon.
I was completely mesmerised by the open blooms and the quiet complexity beneath them.
What you see above the surface is beautiful, but what lies below - the long, tangled stems is just as captivating.
With expert guidance from Award Winning Australian Artist Christine Hingston I found new ways to capture that duality.
Finished with touches of gold leaf, it shimmers with light and carries the layered beauty of that experience.
